![]() ![]() We were four people and tried many dishes and with tip our bill came to about $30 a person. The only thing is be prepared to have no idea what each item will cost you or how much your bill will be. Waitresses walk around with carts with different foods on them and you pick what you want off the cart and they add it to your bill by putting on a stamp. This restaurant is large with several floors and many tables and the restaurant is tastefully decorated. Luckily the large lobby area can accommodate many people to wait on a cold day. We came here for dim sum lunch on a Sunday and as the reviews before me had said there was a 40 minute wait, but we came knowing this. If you want the true experience then come here, but expect crowds and a fast paced dining experience. The food is very rich and heavy and the wait staff don't ask if you want anything extra like water (they assume you will just want tea, which was good, but not a thirst quencher with salty foods) and the waiter literally stood right by our table as I signed the check to get us out. We didnt even get dessert cause we were full. They carve it fresh and put some veggies and the duck in between a soft bun with sauce. We got a beef roll, the sweet bun in the shape of a pig, the bacon wrapped roll, which was really heavy, the shrimp and veggie dumplings which were very good, the breaded prawns and the duck. ![]() Most of the staff speak broken English (I asked for water and got two forks to which the waiter glared at me for) so if the cart didnt say what was on it, we pretty much looked and guessed. THey punch your ticket for each food item and then you give that ticket to a waiter to get the check and pay. When you arrive they usher you to your seat and carts come around. Thank goodness we did cause we didn't know everything dim sum entails. To get that time though, we had to share our table with another couple. We waited about 25 minutes for two, which wasnt too bad. You get a ticket and wait to get your number called with a bunch of other people. This was our first time coming here and it was on a Saturday at 12. ![]()
